“世界文化遗产研究发展协会”是由从事世界文化遗产研究和讲解的专业人员组成的国际联盟，致力于研究、传播、保护、延续和交流，那些保存于世界文化遗址、博物馆、艺术馆及各种形式的文化遗产和艺术杰作。 

“世界文化遗产研究发展协会”英文简写：WHRD；是以会员加盟为核心运作形式的行业协会和非政府组织。协会致力于为文化遗产领域的专家学者、世遗爱好者提供一个学术探讨交流的平台；为古迹、博物馆、艺术馆讲解者提供专业培训基地；结合世界各地文化特色与世界遗产活动制定专业规范和道德标准。 

同时“协会”也作为专家论坛，就文化遗产相关问题提出建议，促进社会文化共建能力和提高公众世界文化知识完善度。WHRD即是博物馆专业人员传播自我观点的国际舞台，同时也是一个全球网络合作方案，借以推动提高公众的文化价值认知能力和意识。协会于2018年成立于英国伦敦。 

 

The World Cultural HeritageResearch and Development Association is an international coalition ofprofessionals engaged in research and presentation of world cultural heritageknowledge and interests to Chinese societies. We are dedicated to the study,dissemination and protection of cultural works and heritage.

- Platforms for academicdiscussions and exchange among experts and scholars in the field of culturalheritage. 

- Professional training forinterpreters. 

-Development of professionalnorms and ethical standards in the light of cultural characteristics and WorldHeritage activities.   

At the same time, the Associationalso serves as an expert forum to make recommendations on culturalheritage-related issues, promote socio-cultural co-construction capacity andimprove the public's knowledge of world culture. WCHRD is the internationalstage for museum professionals to disseminate their views, as well as a global networking program to promote public awareness of cultural values. The association was founded in London, UK in 2018.
